About the Website

The DINRAC Website is established and maintained by the NOWPAP DINRAC, which is envisioned as a primary source of environmental data and information for the NOWPAP region and also as a "switchboard" to provide links to resources available in NOWPAP member countries, with the ultimate goal to serve as "NOWPAP Clearing House" to provide DATA and INFORMATION on marine environment quality in the NOWPAP region.

Data and Information resulted from NOWPAP activities by NOWPAP Regional Activity Centers (RACs), NOWPAP Regional Coordination Unit (RCU), Focal Points and Working Groups of RACs in NOWPAP Members are covered and could be accessed at the Website. Also, related national sources and international sources on marine data and information in NOWPAP Region are included as supplement to make the website as a Portal on Marine Data and Information of NOWPAP.

Main contents of the Website:

• About: introduction to the Website, Regional Seas, NOWPAP and DINRAC.
   

• Marine Environment: to serve as a portal to access the Marine Data and Information of the Website, which provides data and information in English. It is divided into three parts by the source: from the NOWPAP activities, from NOWPAP Members and international programmes.
   

• Marine Litter: provides background information of the Marine Litter, introduction to the activities, and data/information from NOWPAP Members.
   

• NOWPAP Databases: providing links and access to the Databases resulted from NOWPAP activities.
   

• NOWPAP Publications: providing PDF files and the Website links of the National Reports, Integrated Reports, Technical Reports, Newsletters and other outcomes by NOWPAP Regional Activity Centres (RACs) from NOWPAP activities.
   

• NOWPAP Meetings: providing PDF files and the Website links of the Meeting Documents and Meeting Reports of Intergovernmental Meetings on the NOWPAP (IGMs), Focal Points Meeting and Working Groups Meeting of NOWPAP RACs.
   

• Related Organizations: providing a list of the organizations/institutions which are involved into the NOWPAP activities (RACs, FPs, and Experts of WGs). It's categorized by NOWPAP Organizations, Organizations in NOWPAP Members, and International Organizations or Programmes.
   

• Links: an overall website links to the organizations/institutions and programmes related to NOWPAP.
