NowpapMPA (Marine Protected Areas) - a Database on Marine Protected Areas in the Northwest Pacific Region, which is developed and maintained by NOWPAP DINRAC, has given a review and understanding on the current situation and development of marine protected areas, including the title, location, level, area, purpose, protected and endangered species, brief description etc., so as to promote information exchange and distribution on marine and coastal environmental protection in the NOWPAP Region.

NowpapMPA is free to access for non-profit purpose. As an individual professional in the region, you are welcome to add your information to the database by contacting with a DINRAC Focal Point in the NOWPAP Members or NOWPAP DINRAC. Any individual professional information change can be sent to a DINRAC Focal Point in the NOWPAP Members or NOWPAP DINRAC.
