UNESCO released Global Ocean Science Report 2020: Charting Capacity for Ocean Sustainability

On December 14, 2020, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)" released Global Ocean Science Report 2020: Charting Capacity for Ocean Sustainability (GOSR2020), a total of 45 countries directly contributed data and information to the second edition of the global marine science report. The number of marine science papers published in these countries during 2010-2018 accounted for 82%. On the basis of integrating the experience of the first edition, the second edition of global marine science report pays special attention to four themes: namely, the contribution of marine science to sustainable development, the embodiment of scientific application in patents, the in-depth analysis of the gender equality of human resources in marine science and the capacity-building of marine Science.  GOSR2020.pdf
