On April 28, 2020, staff of Mulan Bay, Wenchang City, displayed a "garbage passbook", where 60 points could be exchanged for a coconut. In order to encourage tourists to actively participate in garbage cleaning and protect the environmental sanitation of the coastline, Mulan Bay, Wenchang City, Hainan Province, has recently set up a pilot project on "garbage bank". After collecting garbage at the seaside, tourists could get certain exchange points at the "garbage bank" for gifts such as mineral water, coconut, snacks, etc.
